Our postgraduate programs are offered in a range of different formats that provide alternative entry paths and study durations, including graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters degrees and extended masters degrees.
24 credit points
The graduate certificate is the first four (or sometimes 3) subjects of the masters degree. It allows an entry point for applicants with no undergraduate degree but extensive practical experience in the area of study.
48 credit points
A graduate diploma consists of the first eight subjects of the masters degree. It provides you with the core knowledge of your study area, allowing you to develop foundation competencies as well as some specialised, more advanced skills.
72* credit points
A masters degree equips you with a professional level skillset and a thorough grasp of theoretical foundations and how these are applied in your field. Many of our masters degrees also fulfil the requirements for recognition and qualification by leading professional bodies. *MBA and EMBA are both 96 credit points

An extension masters degree offers the opportunity to further explore a particular area of study beyond the conventional masters structure, allowing more flexibility in subject choices and giving you a stronger element of diversity in your education.
Accounting is focused on score-keeping for business. Postgraduate students at UTS can select the Master of Professional Accounting or the MBA with a major in Professional Accounting to enter the accounting profession, or the Master of Financial Analysis for existing accounting and finance professionals.
Finance focuses on the management of money. UTS is a CFA Program Partner of the CFA Institute, which recognises that the Master of Finance is closely tied to professional practice and suited to students who want to sit for the CFA Program exam. Other options include a Finance major within the MBA, as well as graduate programs in Quantitative Finance and Financial Analysis.
Managing people and organisations is a key professional skill. UTS offers postgraduate programs in Management, Strategic Supply Chain Management, NFP and Social Enterprise Management and Human Resource Management. In addition, UTS offers specialist education in the experiential industries with the postgraduate programs in Creative and Cultural Industries, Event and Sport Management.
UTS Business School’s MBA program provides managers and aspirant managers with conceptual and theoretical knowledge across the full spectrum of business and managerial disciplines.
